March 2016
In March we did an outreach in order to build new relationships and strengthen existing relationships with those in the apartment complexes with whom we have already been working. Many people came, and it was a great time of singing and learning about God. Many Muslim children came and were able to hear the story of the Resurrection of Jesus. This is foreign to them because while most of them believe that Jesus is in heaven, they do not believe that he ever died and rose again.
There was also an ordination for a new Congolese pastor in one of the African churches in the area. Other churches came to the ceremony in support of him, and it was a great time of worship.
November 2014
In the month of November we held two of the Bible story outreaches in two different apartment complexes. Since Christmas is approaching, we told the story of Jesus' birth. We also wanted to give them a gift, so we gave each child that came a storybook Bible. On the first Saturday we handed out 20 Bibles, and on the second Saturday we handed out 32! Many of these children are from non-Christian background. Please pray that the children will read the stories and come to understand Jesus' love for them.
On October 12, 2014, Baruch HaShem hosted an International Feast of Tabernacles. Congregations from the Congo, Ethiopia, the Middle East, Romania, and India/Pakistan came together to worship God. This was an amazing night of Spirit-led worship that demonstrated unity in the body of Christ. Please enjoy the pictures and videos below!
